This kitchen was transformed from a closed dull space with limited cabinets into an open concept with lots of storage and counter space! A simple way to divide a room but still have that spacious feel is by adding a half wall. Custom Touch Builders turned the full wall that divided this kitchen and family room into a functional half wall.
We installed classic white cabinetry, added recessed lights, under cabinet lighting and used a vinyl plank floor. Granite was used for the counters and we completed the look with a clean glass tile for the back-splash. A fresh coat of paint was applied to lighten up the room. With a few small changes to the old layout we were able to increase the storage space and turn this kitchen into a great space to cook and entertain.
We also finished the foyer with an Armstrong Alterna Engineered Stone Vinyl Tile. This tile gets grouted and has the look of natural stone but is easier to maintain.
