This bathroom was completely gutted for this project. Custom Touch Builders removed the dated tile from the shower walls and tore out the existing tub. It was then replaced with a cast iron tub.
Before the flooring was tiled with a polished travertine, Custom Touch Builders installed heating elements on the unfinished floor. This heat warms the tiles so they are not cold to the touch. Walking barefoot is much more comfortable getting out of the shower or standing to brush your teeth!
Honed travertine was installed in the bath/shower area with a glass tile bordered with travertine pencils for decorative accents. New cabinetry was installed with granite countertops. Custom shelves were built and installed for additional storage next to the shower.
